The level of irony here is almost to huge to comprehend. Suffice it to say he finally got something right, accidentally.

Well that's a damn fine piece of satire. I guess my proclivity to assume Dubbya is as dumb as a box of rocks has been exposed.

Oh my gosh...don't people EVER do their OWN research first before believing a story as stupid as this?!? I recently commented on a friend's facebook post (who also believed this story to be true) that dailycurrant.com is all about satire...and they even say so on their "about" page...if people would take the time to check it out. I just can't believe people would even take this as a serious story to begin with.

    Q. Are your newstories real?
    A. No. Our stories are purely fictional...

    ***********

It's a big problem in today's society...WANTING to believe a story so much that you don't bother checking to see if it's even true first before passing it on. There's an avalanche of misinformation promoted through the social media and not enough people question it or do their own detective work to dispute it or at least call it what it is...lies or satire. Unfortunately, once a story's out there, if enough people believe it to be true, it must be, right? ;-)

I would imagine that dailycurrant would be enough for someone to know that it's satire. It's amazing how many people fall for The Onion as well.

    "unfortunately debunked"

lol, story of your life, I assume.

I appreciate it being debunked, I also appreciate our resident genius reporting it so boldly.

Still no college records of any sort from two-time. yawn.

    ...now, it's a joke.

Listen, Penny, with all due respect (and you are due more than any).

    A constant theme is that W. is a dumb-ass.

I'm going to assume he's smarter, unless evidence of any letter grade in any university from Obama magically appears.

    ...and it will take magic.

Why don't concentrate on going forward rather than looking back 1der? Anyway, I was under the impression that W wouldn't release his transcripts either. Weren't they leaked?

How did you know that I love Pilot?!!

I'm not so sure that grades earned in college actually relate to intelligence. Some of the better grades I earned actually had more to do with (figurative) *ss-kissing and in some of my lower graded classes I learned a great deal.

Unfortunately I don't pay attention to the Onion and I had no previous experience with the Daily Current. I'm not offended by 'fake news', as it is called, and I appreciate the satire, but the headline was posted by a friend on FB and I should have known better.
