    Tonight Ballardites!

PROG! returns to Ballard on the 8th returning guest Jody McKane! Also playing Ballard for the first time are PROG! sooper-residents Narvan and Veins!

The combined prog-knowledge of these 3 is pretty insane...so come on up (to Ballard) and have a drink with us at Hazlewood! If you can't make it or are out-of-town, tune in at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/prog1

Prog! is every 2nd Thursday at Hazlewood, 9pm-2:00am

PROG! is a night dedicated to expanding typical perceptions of prog rock—and minds, as well. Our resident DJs bring decades of collective obsessive listening and record collecting to the decks every month to provide Seattle's only musical event devoted to the peaks of prog rock.

While you'll hear the genre's well-known pillars like Yes, King Crimson, Soft Machine and Aphrodite's Child, you'll also hear much more obscure artists from the fields of krautrock, drone, jazz fusion, and cosmic-synth. Along with guest DJs chosen from among the area's keenest music heads, the selectors behind PROG! delve deeply into some of the most complex and exciting music ever conceived. You will not hear music like this in public anywhere else.
