What is up with all the Christmas decorations already. If I could just stay away from the stores i could avoid the people shopping and singing the carols like a bad karaoke bar

Uuuuggh .. If I could go with out eating till 12-26-12 and avoid stores I would be thrilled.

Set your delivery time to drop off around 4:00 in the morning before you wake up to lessen the odds of that happening.

You have me curious about the service. Do you or anyone else here use them and if so how it it ? I usually do my grocery shopping at Trader Joes & Cash and Carry.

Buffalo, I see you are a fellow sufferer?

Believe it or not, when I lived on the Big Island Macy's would begin putting out Christmas stuff in August. I was incensed. First time I saw it I have a full cart of stuff my wife wanted. As I approached the checkout I walked past a rather large holiday display with trees, ornaments, music playing, the works. I took my time and went up to the cashier and asked to see a manager, and then explained I was going to put my entire cart back on the shelves where I got the stuff from and would not re-enter the store until the holiday stuff had come down. They actually beat Costco with this display. Costco I understand. They are a wholesaler. But Macy's? Yow.

Anyway....I wrote Macy's and complained and got back a lovely letter back from them that said, in essence, Dear Customer....Tough shite. We make money doing this. You live on an island. Good luck finding someplace else to shop. Love, Macy's. I never went back into the Hawaiian Macy's stores. Lets hear it for mail order!!!!

I love Christmas, even though I am your basic Class A heathen. The day after Thanksgiving is a fine starting day for Christmas stuff in my mind. I am such a fuddy duddy.

Cheers to you from a fellow Holiday sufferer.

BH: Amazon Fresh is pretty cool. Pick a time and they bring it during that window. Or, get the boxes and they drop stuff on your porch. Good produce. Saves a ton of time and frees up precious weekend time for other stuff. You do pay more for it. Think Ballard Market/Kens type prices.
