Just had a dreadful experience at Walgreen's (the one by Value Village) and I'm through with them. I'm ready to transfer my scripts to a pharmacy that cares about customer service. Suggestions?

Have been with Fred Meyer Greenwood for 13 years. They follow through on the complications of refills, contacting doc, transfer Rx, insurance processing. That's all they do there right now until the new store is finished, so take a magazine if you have to wait for it. Their telephone refill system is fast and efficient, no waiting around. Also less expensive than Walgreen, at least on one I recently had to have them fill before I could get over to Greenwood.

How about Lafferty's next to Swedish? They have good customer service.

I agree, Walgreens is a hole. Bartell, across from the Library, has been very good to me. They remember my name on sight, and are always courteous. Some of their pharmicists have been there for decades. I don't think you can do better.

I use the Safeway at Market and 15th. They are always really nice.

Sorry your herpes is flaring up, can get annoying.

Lafferty's are fabulous. Hours aren't so good - 9-6 but they will work with you. The only ones I know that will get my Armour thyroid that I need. The rest say they don't have it.

Laffertys-they have been our family pharmacists and friends for years. Ballard Bartells is great too.

Laffertys personnel are great but I do a majority of mine at Walgreen's. Have had no problems - except recently. And it wasn't totally their fault - it was my insurance.

Norge - I too take Armour Thyroid and I get it at Walgreen's.
