Pretty stupid of all the crazies to sign up at the *Federal Government Website*. It must be some kind of mind control radio frequency thing that can penetrate civilian grade aluminum foil. Anyway it worked; nice for all the kooks and sovereign militia gun nuts to register as such, that could come in handy, once we have the camps built.

The camps aren't for them, genius.

You'll be very pleased, I'm told, safe in a sheeple pen, letting your benevolent nanny care for your every need.

btw, don't think of it as internment, we would never do that again. /sarcasm.

Actually idiots come from both sides. I know quite a few people who were ready to flee the country were Romney to win. They spoke of this openly and somehow that was accepted and the "in" thing.

    It's not news. People complain.

I wanted to secede from Catholic schools when I was a kid but my parent controlled the roof over my head;)

Idiots on both sides, certainly, but your example illustrates a dramatic difference in the magnitude of their idiocy.

Leaving the country, as an individual for political reasons, is totally do-able, and has been done by thousands of people, notably during the Vietnam war.

On the other hand, people who think that any US state could secede from the union and successfully survive on its own, while providing only those laws and liberties that THEY agree with (and low/no taxes, of course), are sadly uninformed fools with a horribly inflated sense of self-importance.

Then Texas qualifies. No problem going back to their old Republic of Texas flag.

Ernie +1. Though I'd enjoy watching the train wreck if they try. Dummies.

You all know that it is not possible for a state to seceding from the US once they have petitioned for and been granted statehood, there was even a war over that issue and the constitution still holds.

OTOH, the petition that asks for the removal of citizenship for anyone that signed a state seceding petition is worth thinking about

Every wannabe homegrown terrorist has just supplied his / her name. The government couldn't have done a better job compiling a list if they tried.

If you really think any terrorist, homegrown or otherwise, voluntarily signed in to that website, you are simply delusional.

I would even use a word like 'epic', if I was a tool...

"that website..." Clearly it is you who is delusional.

I hear there is a young woman in California who might be looking for a man of your caliber. I'd be willing to bet that if she showed up at your rented basement door and asked you to sign a petition to have WA secede from the union, you would bend over backwards to sign it.

Meanwhile, shall we discuss my orange hat? Normally I'm not one to rub the loser's nose in it, but for you, I'll make an exception.

Sorry 1derbread, I misquoted you, it should have been "If I was *a* tool…" From your ranting, it seems you think I am some kind of "moocher", headed for the "sheeple pen", that could not be further from the truth, I am a "maker", always have been. Home owner, working man, tax payer.

    Corvis, orange hat?
