I need some referrals for a good mechanic. I need new brakes on my 2007 VW. I have no idea where to even start. You guys are always good for referrals!

Bernie's Auto on Leary & 8th. Great service. Been using them for years now.

Edited to add that I drive a honda, not a vw.

Stone's German Garage works on my VW. Great, and honest guy. When I got multiple estimates, he was cheapest. 206 295 2306

We've been taking our '98 Beetle to Bug Aid for years with great results. They're on 99 up near 145th. But if you're looking for something closer, we're also loving Loyal Automotive on 24th. Stay away from brake 'specialists' like Midas. I've had nothing but bad results from them.

The Shop on 15th. Sam's been nothing but great and honest with me and several people I referred to him.

I have the same bad experience with Midas.
