Just saw this on the news. a woman in Ballard rescued a black-colored hen which does not belong to her neighbors. They didn't say exactly where she is located.

Must be a slow news day...
The woman looking for her owners thought she'd been blown into their yard by the storm, because she didn't belong to the neighbors who had chickens. I think the brief video was included in other storm stories. IIRC, somebody said "she's a very sweet chicken", which made me realize I'd been watching too much news coverage and should go to bed.

"she's a very sweet chicken"
nothing a little savory thyme and course salt can't take care of.
I hope some poultry blows into my yard!

I'm from Kansas so blowing sweet hens is a total crackup image to me. Thanks for the early morning chuckle! ;)

There is a woman who is missing one of her chickens & it matches the description perfectly. She is contacting the woman who found the injured hen.
