    right-o again northwestnative.

probably the only sane post on this thread.

corvus, you have wonderful verbal skills, quite eloquent in fact. why do you continue to put forth any effort for onederfulskum?

seems you could also benefit from the ignoring of what amounts to verbal trash.

The honey buckets need to be put where the people who choose to be homelessness and those homeless by circumstance live. That includes the car, ground campers and RVers. One can be put on Shilshole near Yankee Diner and the other down the road not far from Fred Myer. I'm also in favor of having a couple of 'abbreviated' Portland styled commode stations at the Commons. While we're at it, a couple can be placed in the food bank if there aren't any already.
If anyone hasn't noticed, more living units are coming and hopefully with families. We can't have the Commons bereft of some toilets if families are to enjoy the Commons.

The restrooms at the Library, the Neighborhood Service Center, and the Food Bank are heavily used even with the honeybucket in place.

"If anyone hasn't noticed, more living units are coming and hopefully with families. We can't have the Commons bereft of some toilets if families are to enjoy the Commons."

Quite a few of the survey respondents said they wanted a more permanent restroom at the park. The challenge will be in finding the funding to build and maintain it. Ideas?

    I've got an idea.

What if all the churches that enable squatting keep their bathrooms open 24/7?

What if all the businesses that are open 24/7 simply placed neon signs on their front window 'Public Restroom'.

What if we just stopped spilling dollars into a rat hole, and better utilized what already exists?

Because you've got no balls, you've got no mandate to steal, and you've got no ideas.

cd and GI just want to be little forum bitches. Never trust a groupie, rule #1.

    cya's.

Well, when dissecting great idea's post I have come to a conclusion. He addresses two issues. One is the ongoing 1der/Corvus back and forth. The other is something he refers to as 'verbal trash', (due to the use of 'also')

Considering the comments on this thread I can only assume that I am the verbal trash he is referring to.

Anyway, I am sad that the budding bromance isn't going so well today. Then again, 'run away and pout' is something that has probably been said in many relationships from time to time :-)

Maybe while you dream your impossible dream, offer something genius?

    Or, settle for something GI.

    Either way, do something useful.

I know, it's a bar you seldom seek.

[edit], damn penny, you are so giving, maybe just step back a bit?

Now we are getting some where. Please do tell what is it You do which is so useful that you could make that accusation against anyone. You have never mentioned any good work or community building activity that you participate in. As near as I can tell, all you ever do is deride everybody and then post some Youtube link like that counts for a literary reference of some kind.

Seriously, what makes you useful at all?

    Something worth noting here.

The two of you butt heads constantly. That's a given. Yes, 1der is grouchy and wrong (in my opinion) a lot of the time - I call him out on it constantly. That is my view. But he is in a minority here. He has no chance so he probably has to up the ante somewhat. I would do the same thing if I was trying to speak on a Conservative site.

GI appears to be the cheering party. He also doesn't have a problem when it comes to certain things that most people consider to be off limits as he has proved before. You, Corvus, on the other hand, know when it isn't ok. But GI tends to use others as the main mouthpiece. He is great at putting in his 10c but he's also very clever at hiding behind the tail coat of another.

As for who does what in the community - that's another grey area. I am sure that there are people who do little to nothing but shout it from the rooftops when they donate a buck or look at a homeless person the right way. On the other hand, most people I know who work in/with the community don't tend to talk about it because it isn't something out of the ordinary that they do. It's just what they do.

Poker took a grilling around here because of his attitude to certain things. But who actually bothered to look into Urness and actually tour the downtown facility? Poker did. He came back and his mind was changed somewhat, but he still had concerns. Who else here did? I would guess no-one.

Anyway, I was talking to someone the other day who said this forum was a lot of fun a few years ago. Now it is either plain boring or pick on 1der day.

I don't know what kind of dissecting classes they offer in Wales but you're so off base with that comment I don't know where to start. trust me when I say you were the last one on my mind when I said that.

I'm not sure what you're referring to above that I implies I have no moral compass or something. I find that pretty damn offensive. what exactly am I fine with that others consider off-limits?

my comments to Corvus were to forgot oneder, not pick on him. the salty banter with him was fun for a time, but it got old pretty fast.
oneder is a psychotic internet bully who believes it's his way or the highway. I take no joy in such interaction.

@ Penny - You had me in complete agreement until that last sentence.

    Poor Onedy.

I live and work in extremely conservative circles. I never find it beneficial to 'up my game' by deriding everybody around me.

But Onedy isn't conservative; he is a whackjob pseudo intellectual half wit troll and has been from day one on this forum.

    edited for clarity.

I don't know which sentence or who you are talking to Corvus.

Great Idea...there was one time recently that you were very offensive and actually didn't back down. You might remember it. Anyway, it was very cruel considering the parties concerned. Maybe you weren't being mean, but the other choice, that you don't know any better is even worse. And more than one person found that highly offensive.

BallardMama checked out Urness House, with Pokerguy. Believe he rode w/her to go see what it was like.

(Edit: funny that one can see "tags" when logged in, on the upper left hand side. Guess the GS folks did the smallest change possible to eliminate tags..)

Onedy is just low hanging fruit. I counter his bile purely for my own entertainment. And I a figured this topic was already a twice kicked horse dead horse anyway so what would it matter.

That's right MidWest. BallardMama (Pro) and Poker (Con) toured together. He was quite positive about it after visiting. I think he still had misgivings about where it would be situated but was a lot more comfortable with things.

gee penny. thanks for being so specific.

the very fact that your throwing kudos to pokerguy while trashing me adds to my amusement.

the same pokerguy that's made crude comments about (insert here, I'm too lazy to look this shit up), but the guy has been truly offensive and you can not deny that.
