Their building is being demolished for a new complex, so they are moving to Ballard during destruction/construction. They might be moving back afterwords, but at least we'll have it for a while.

I've only been there once or twice, because parking is IMPOSSIBLE. It's like they are trying to recruit me by temporary moving into my neighborhood.

Wow, here I was bemoaning the demise of the old location, and now I can walk to the new one- sweet!

    Thanks for posting jj.

Google Maps came up with Cafe Fiore in the new location 5404 Leary Avenue NW. Guess Fiore is leaving?

Can a guy get a cup of Kopi Luwak here?
Wonder what Stabbuck would charge for that, maybe $50 a cup?

Ah, coffee & cat poop, only in hipsterville... he said facetiously...

I suggested Ballard many times, starting a few years ago when they first told me their location would be demolished. I'm very pleased that we in Ballard will get to experience what I truly appreciate about the B&O.

I guess now I need to lobby them about keeping them in Ballard once the new B&O location is redone. Seattle will support two.

Parking? Since the rezone of the hill, you can forget about it. I always take a cab.

Happy they are finding a new place but that location on the hill was great. The behemoth replacing it is awful.

Maybe they elect to stay, fwiw.

    They could certainly/maybe/possibly do worse...

I dunno, I'm conflicted, given the anti-social environment for anyone w/out a camper.

    I'm a poet.

B&O would be a great permanent addition to Ballard. We are going to be needing more tax revenue generating coffee houses, that is for sure.

meh, I could care less if another coffee shop moved into Ballard.

and I lived for years near the Capitol Hill location and went there every now and again, but in the end... it was just another coffee shop.

also, any cool vibe at a place like this is brought on purely by location.
I don't think this new spot has what it takes.

    cool avatar pixlpete!

    THIS IS AMAZING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a native who has been going to B&O for 20+ years, this rocks!!!!!!!I hope they will be able to retain some of the staff.
Ballard has officially arrived. Why ever go to any other neighborhood in our city...

gi - B&O isn't about the coffee, it's about the desserts.

Cafe Fiore is at 5405 Leary. They are not moving. 5404 is across the street, the Monette's Deli location, under the Canal Station condos.
