   We do it at the pediatrician, and use the nose-spray (live) vaccine. My view it's really for me more than the Kid. This Child brings everything home, and if she is immune, she won't gift me with it.

   I am a strong advocate of vaccination for the healthy. It protects the immuno-suppressed (of which we now have many in our communities) by interrupting transmission.

   My three year old got hers. She got it at Ballard Pediatric. She hasn't gotten the flu yet this year. We will soon know how good her vaccine is. I am on day four of the flu. I never get a shot and this was the first time I have hade the flu in at least 20 years. I forgot how much it sucks.
