we're becoming like LA where almost half of accidents are hit-and-runs:

First of all, midwest, your straw-men are self-made and non-repentant, figures you despise them, yet cradle everything to do with the ever growing class of dependents, especially those that aren't long in the tooth.

Nobody resents it here. I will call it for what it is.

Second point, only folks that are angry about my opinion consider me to be an angry person.

I consider that to be illustrative. fwiw.

Nobody else will, I live within that knowledge.

Hmmmm... was trying to figure out why a routine "happening" post was getting so many hits - geez. 1der my friend, I believe Edog was attempting to insert some humor - in his own fashion - which is, on occasion, an acquired taste ;o)

Everybody fill up their eggnog cup (or whatever guilty pleasure you prefer) and toast something you care about. Life is tooooooo damn short to argue about silly things - though the hit and run is not silly in the slightest ;o(

WTF is with stopgo and silver?
Silver has reported happenings in the neighborhood for years, I have never found them to be a pain in my ass or any other region. I personally like to know what happens near my dwelling, earthshaking or not. In other words I like to read what silver cares to contribute.
So, stopgo or any stopgo apologists, care to clarify this seeming antagonistic stance?

ballardian2, the plain truth is stopgo needs a noogie.

I have not been available to give stopgo his desperately craved regular noogie for some time now so lately he's been trolling for a substitute noogier but his cryptic cries for a noogie are sadly misdirected toward Silver.

Seriously now, I don't blame this poor soul for my own failings and neither should you, but rather I say we should all, my fellow MyBallardians, get together and look into whether we could possibly redirect poor stopgo's baser cravings toward a more noogie tolerant individual or group somebody may know about.

This is important, dammit. Providing stopgo with a new regular noogie source would be akin to enabling a heroic dog rescue from kidnappers on your neighborhood street.
