I see you wrote me ages ago...let's connect!

By that I mean, check your email (unlike me).

do people actually look at this site ("enter the forum") more often than they check their email?

    that seems odd to me.

GI: One of the accounts I have doesn't pull properly on my phone and I don't log onto it on my computer, so sometimes it can go a long time without checking because I forget. I look at this forum every day unless I am sick or do not have access to the internet.

    that kind of makes sense.

like most people, I have a 'spam' account I use for ordering things and whatnot.
I've just never given that email address to real people. even the few I've communicated with from the forum I use my normal email acct.

GI, I too have a spam account for commerce, but my mb blog account has also become a spagmificent palace of spamification. Thus, I usually tell peeps to holler here if they email me at said account. Starting a new fresh account is just too much trouble. I already forget all my damn accounts, addresses, and passwords.

Reading the blog is more pleasant for me, anyway. Plus, I've always been in the "odd" category.

Phoo - seriously, if you have an account that doesn't "pull properly" as you put it, double check your server settings with your provider. They could be wrong. they could be wrong and still get intermittent message if your POP or SMTP server names (and ports) are of. Not as rare as you would think to do so.

my provider, heh. It's a gmail acct. It's set precisely as the other acct. The only thing I can think of is I am unfamiliar with the push protocol that gmail uses to android phones. I did not think I was using it (I've set it for pop), but perhaps that why one acct updates even quicker than the web interface and the other doesn't update at all unless requested by the user.
