How cool is this? I just like the simplicity and the fact that anyone at all, even me, can make a paper snowflake. What a nice innocent little thing to do.
Posted by the PTA for the school. Says this thing I shall share. My son and I will make one for each victim. It will do his heart good, maybe mine too.

    You can help by:
    creating paper snowflakes
    donating money

Every school in America should be blanketed with snowflakes.

Last Friday shook every child, they should see every community dedicated to them as well.

    My .02.

That, or a well-armed protector clearly visible in every school, which I would prefer.

    Snowflakes are more do-able, clearly.

I read about this today as well. They are not returning to their school, which will remained closed for an indeterminate period. They're actually going to a nearby school that has been closed, so they need help decorating it. The snowflakes are a great idea!

I thought my kids were *relatively* OK with this terrible event -- after all, it was so far away from Seattle and my kids are middle- and high-school age. Yesterday morning I found the Seattle Public Schools "School Safety Information Page" open on the computer after they left for school in the morning. :(

I don't know which of the two was feeling anxious and looking for info.
