Scott studied music at Pacific Lutheran University (c/o 2007) and has spent the last six years performing, teaching, and composing in a variety of settings. He's a real pro with young students (ages 4 and up) but is equally comfortable teaching adults. Over the years Scott has been involved with some of the best ensembles in the state, and has recently performed with Celebrity Cruises and Ascension Theatre Productions.

His piano credits include accompanying for Solo and Ensemble Contest, Tacoma Musical Playhouse, the Tacoma Dome MLK Celebration, area churches, community music, and numerous others. A passion for music and easy personality with people make him a fun and effective teacher. Currently he directs and performs with the internationally touring men's quartet "545 Express" but can always make time for his first love; teaching.

    Recent Teaching Credits:
Vocal Coach for University of Puget Sound
Piano Instructor at Open Arts Studio
Interim Choral Director at Goodman Middle School
Musical Director of 545 Express A Cappella
Music Director at Findlay Street Christian Church

Students will learn proper technique as well as music theory, and depending on personal goals, stage presence and audition preparation skills.
Students of all ages and musical interest are welcome.
