I had posted in here before asking for recommendations for someone to clean my gutters. Ended up finding someone on Craigslist and he did a stellar job so wanted to recommend him. I was at work so it was especially nice that he sent me before and after pictures of the gutters. If you need your gutters cleaned, try Stephen Kittel - kittelian@gmail.com or call him at 206-419-4692.

I'm open to some sort of leech cleaning or other parasites of that nature.

where I grew up, if you entered the local ponds or streams, there was a good chance you'd have a leech attached to your skin when you came on land.

usually you could peel them off, but every now and again they'd get stubborn and you'd need a lighter to burn them off.

for some reason, I thought 'slugs' were the same thing when I first moved here.

When we where kids we would go turtle hunting at a campground we would spend the Summer at. We would have to walk in the swampiest water to catch them since it would slow them down as opposed to the clear areas. When we brought them back to shore we would pull out there legs to check for leeches and remove them.I still can't believe the fearless things I did as a kid but wouldn't even consider now.

He charged me $100. Not sure how many feet my gutters were though...typical Ballard craftsman type house only with super high gutters.

I don't think they allow grown-ups in the halls of congress!

I'm just glad those banana slugs in particular weren't giant leeches.
3 or 4 of those puppies would suck an adult dry in ten minutes.

    Don't clean stopgo's gutters.

If you clean his gutters he'll lose his mind.
