Mondo - I really didn't think their beer was that wonderful. It is OK but we have local brews that I think taste much better. Lots of hype and publicity and not that good, just my two pennies worth!

I agree that we've got plenty of interesting good stuff from nearby. Maybe the RR stuff didn't always do well in shipment.

It's a little bit of a disappointment but as Mondoman VeganBiker point out, there are plenty of other very tasty beers to fill the void.

I do think that the Pliny The Elder was very good Imperial IPA if/when you could find it. The cult status of that beer is really bizarre however. Oh well, no shortage of tasty bevs to try. I predict that they will be back.

Not really too much of a loss. Almost never was able to find any Russian River stuff anyway and there is lots of good stuff out there already. If you are a hophead, give Green Flash IPA a shot. If you are a hophead and want local...can't go wrong with Reuben's Brews. If IPA's aren't your thing, try Fort George 1811 Lager, might be at Chuck's on 85th. An interesting (it is not clear like a typical lager) and excellent brew.
