So if you care to share, what resolutions did you make? Or what you wish would happen generally speaking?

As I am only New Ballard, I plan on embracing the New New Ballard. I'm going to try and be a clueless as I can about getting in your way without paying attention, being colder, more abrasive, and less loving. You know a worse neighbor than I was was the day before. For starters, I am no longer using my leash or picking up after my dog.

And we all here know you will be doing exactly the opposite! Good tongue-in-cheek post.

Ho Ho Ho I resolve to come back next Winter Solstice. OK, I have to fess up. We may be moving back here since Father Christmas is getting on in age, which is obvious from how long his beard is this year.

BTW gracie, I meant no harm to you. I just give you the straight talk, so hope you can begin to engage. Thanks for putting up threads like this which are pretty mindless entertainment as opposed to your angst which you want agreed to and soothed.

I resolve to pick up after Edog's dog.
(I'm not saying how long after.)

Oh no, iPlod, you are in his posse now. First it is poop scooping, next you will have to do his posting for him and keep up the bantering with PG.

I believe that would be a 'poosse' smartsy.
or is that some weird triple-entendre?

Keep me the heck out of the man thing.

Don't ignore the qualifier, Smartsy.
My cyborg clone won't be closely inspecting fossilized Edog dog poop until 5013.
pennygirl will be middle aged by then & therefore completely uninteresting to a MyBallard forum entirely composed of thawed out boomer brains which were frozen before they considered themselves uninteresting.

I saw a good one, but not sure if I will do it. I've never stuck with a resolution before so I no longer make them, though this one is a little different than the "I will eat vegan, take up Zumba and look like a million $ by December." The idea was to keep a jar and write down all the good stuff that happens on little slips of paper, so at the end of the year you can recall all of it instead of focusing on the bad.

Here's mine: "I resolve to do the Jan 1 Polar Bear Plunge at Golden Gardens for the second year in a row".
I did it. I'm done for the year.
