    what happened to Anitas Crapes? the place is completely empty. anybody know?

    They lost their lease and had to vacate.

    It's too bad -- it was a very nice spot with delicious food and drink.

    As others have stated, they lost their lease.

    Kind of a weird deal if you ask me. They lost their lease and had to vacate within 3 days? That's only going to happen if you don't pay attention. Sounds more like they threw away their lease to me

    A lease with a clause that would only give a tenant 3 days to vacate? Unlikely. But a tenant who does not pay rent can be served with a "3-day pay or quit" order; the first step towards eviction. This would be my bet.

    It does sound like the were facing eviction -- so sad! They always seemed pretty busy and Anita herself planted the garden on the parking strip.
