Ok, this may me one of my stranger requests (reference to the pee saga), and I can't tell you why.

Anyone have a clean camping cot, or army cot, that is narrow (~22" wide, max). You would be lending it out on indefinite extended loan, to be used cleanly and gently, indoors, by yours truly.

Futons are too wide. The 22" width is critical.

Your only reward would be to know the reason why, to be told in confidence.
    <<Oh! The drama and suspense!>>

If you have such an item, and trust me to be a good caretaker, please shoot me a line at my handle, hosted by yahoo.

I have an army style cot but don't know the width (but I sleep comfortably on it, or did back in my Scoutmaster days). It is in my storage unit so let me know if you want me to measure it. Edited to remove an analogy that was unintentionally crude.

Target has a great roll-away bed for $99. It folds up and has a storage bag. Super convenient.

Thanks, guys. Sorry for the absence, have had chores to do. All the links have cots that are too wide, except for kid's, which are too short. RichY, maybe I can pick your brain about what building one entails.

Have you tried an Army surplus store? Seems like I've seen that kind of thing there before

I guess at least 61" (my height), or perhaps 70 so I can stretch up or down a little...

Hi RichY. Not yet. Phone calls are harder to accomplish due to cacophony. Will ring you in the am I hope?
