I don't know what is going on but there are a number of police vehicles driving around, obviously looking for someone. Largest group 67th and north between 25th and 27th. Kind of odd during the day.

There was a fire engine and three patrol cars the block over from us at NW 67th and Earl. Two of the patrol cars are still there. It's been over an hour--and we've noticed patrol cars driving around as well.

    I like the name 'Earl'

I wish my street had some fun-loving guy w/ a wispy mustache sort-of-name instead of a dumb number.

Your avatar doesn't make me smile though. Having trouble not scrolling past your posts. It's creeping me out.

I was wondering what that was about. I've got to be more vigilant about locking my doors! Not that we have much of value to steal. More worried about my cats getting out...

miss julie, I know what you mean. I find myself yelling "don't let that cat out!" even from hotel rooms while traveling. No wonder the family thinks I'm a little (lot) crazy.

@GI glad you liked the name "Earl", it's why I named our mustachioed mini Schnauzer (they just LOOK like little old men!)

wow - that is pretty freakin' brazen of the thiefs. Wonder what the logic was of picking an occupied home when I'm sure there were lots of other choices on a Saturday afternoon in Ballard. Frankly, that freaks me out a bit - have to think about what to change around these here parts - I'd just as soon not find burglars in my living room like that ;(

Oops, slipped-up and posted a link. Sorry! I should have only said, go to the KOMO TV website and read the Sunset Hills burglary story by Michael Harthorne ace reporter.

SA You are correct that links are permitted as well as copying and pasting only part of the story unless you are are Meghan Walker. Than you can paste the entire story from somewhere else on the front page. Hell you don't even have to copy & paste the link as to where the original information came from ;)

@ earl danger--fantastic name! he looks like an 'Earl'

it really is too bad there aren't more 'named' streets.

there's really just 'Earl' and 'Jones' in that area.
the street one block west should be 'James'
