It is my asthma begging me to ask. Is there a place that will use all unscented/hypoallergenic products to give my dog a bath? The last time she came back from a bath, I had a pretty bad reaction, and they said they used hypoallergenic stuff. She still had a strong fake coconut odor. When Andy was alive, he bathed her in the bathtub, and we had no probs. I can't physically do it, just too small. Thanks.

This is why I have a black dog: If you can't see the dirt, she does not need a bath.

I'm sure any place will do so. Ask first, and if they say they do not have those products, bring them with you for them to use.

Call Bark In Style on Wallingford - they have all kinds of different shampoos for different situations (for both the dog and the owner). They found some great anti-itch non-medicine smelling stuff for our little dude. If they don't have anything, I'd call a vet and ask for some recommendations.

+1 for Bark in Style, they had no problem using the shampoo we provided when one of our dogs had a prescription shampoo. I would think that most places would be willing to use a shampoo provided by the owner.

Thanks all. Places to check out. My respiratory system thanks you too!
Edog, Mynah is black. She's getting a bath because of the "pond scum" odor she gets from a couple of weeks of walking in the rain and mud.
