  1. The seal on part of my windshield needs repair. Is this something I should try to do myself or bring it in? Ideas?

The seal+windshield is often a structural (i.e. crash safety) element in modern cars, so I'd have a glass pro look at it.

that auto glass place on 85th and 3rd has gotten positive reviews on here in the past. I had such a problem, cost me $200 to get it resealed, which was painful, but far less painful than mildew or rot in the interior of my car. Good luck!

I had my entire windshield replaced a couple years ago for around $300.
my insurance covered it, which is something the op might look into.
