We have the Pottery Barn "Farmhouse" table with two chairs. The table is white and the chairs are green. They were new in 09 and hardly used. Our daughter has outgrown them.

This a link to the Pottery Barn description.

    Make an offer.

I created a Craigslist add for the table and chairs with a picture...

I once went into a pottery barn and was bitterly disappointed and confused that they in fact have no pottery.

  4. They originally sold functional pottery and other kitchen/dining things on rows of long tables in an old former warehouse. This was on the lower west side of Manhattan. Inexpensive, typical 70s pottery. After Williams Sonoma bought them out, everything changed.

I wondered why is was called Pottery Barn. I have actually never been to one of their stores. I just hear the name tossed around like it is something special and apparently many people like their stuff. I don't have any complaints with the quality of this table and the chairs.

  6. I worked for PB as a design consultant in VT, and then here for a couple of years. The soft goods are very good quality (bedding, towels, drapes, etc). I don't recommend buying lighting from them. As for furniture, I believe most of it is of good quality. Many people get hooked on the supposed status, and their homes end up looking like a PB store display. Same goes for their Kids store.
