Great. You are welcome for the heads up about the area. Go back to talking about whatever it is you talk about.

Thanks for the heads-up. Sounds like it's basically happening outside of my windows again.

Have I mentioned how much I can't wait to move to Loyal Heights?

So this is the THIRD TIME in six months that we've had a rapist loose in the neighborhood.

I'm kinda getting to the point where I think I'd just be flip and snotty if I was approached by one of these a-holes.

Yes. It's the fifth story after the Greenwood Food Bank, a Condo vandalized, Wine tasting and a Public hearing on affordable housing.

    It says it all really.

Wine tasting apparently bests attempted kidnapping in the grand scheme of things.

Fred Meyers? What kind of sick person shops at place like that. Remind Boris of stinky days of Soviet Union back when still workers paradise.

FYI ... Police have released a sketch

    http://www.nbcnews.com/id/50789204/ns/local_news-seattle_wa/#.URrhMPKaLEE

Police have developed a sketch of the suspect who sexually assaulted a woman at knifepoint Friday evening near Northgate, the first of several attacks now under investigation.

But while police have yet to link the crimes, three victims described their attacker as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, between 5-foot-7 and 6 feet, 140 to 160 pounds, with short brown hair.

The Northgate attack suspect pictured in the sketch also had sunken light blue eyes, a tattoo under his left forearm, and a gravelly voice.

Don't you think the lips on that drawing look feminine? I'm not sure what I meant I just went with my gut and that guy looks freaky.

You are right about the freaky Corvus. But the Jolie theory throws the other thing out of the window.

Time to get real. I have taken a few excellent self-defense classes at Insights Training Center http://www.insightstraining.com/ The classes aren't cheap, but they are taught by highly skilled and realistic professionals. I'm certain there are other great places to "get schooled" in self-defense.

The women attacked deserve credit because they had the brains and guts to fight for their lives. This will cause an outcry, but I wish at least one of them had a concealed weapon permit, knew how to use her weapon, and defended herself successfully so that the rest of us don't have to hear about these men striking again, and again, and again, ruining lives directly and indirectly.

Excuse me but I think we don't need to 'get real'. Any woman on this forum who lives in this area is aware of the problem. I know of me and Alli and at least two others in the vicinity, and trust me, we can take care of ourselves. And guess what - it probably wouldn't involve a weapon.

hey.... two trees? omg that's so wrong. lol.. this is the blueberry growing Tree... The Attack at Fred Meyers involved two men with a van that had XYZ painted on the side. That woman is dang lucky she fought back. Two against one is not the best odds unless you perhaps you are fighting for your life..? Glad she won.

Come on, quit grousing about a handful of minor sexual assaults. This is the "vibrant neighborhood" the mayor has promised you - the explosion in violent crime is the price you pay. Be proud - we're leading the way on reducing our carbon footprint!
