   A very nice black cat wandered into my house near 16th & 75th this evening. I can't tell if it is male or female, but it is friendly and a little bit shy. My own cat doesn't like other cats, so I will not be able to keep this black cat for very long, but in case you are looking for it and see this tonight (2-14), you can call 206-432-6230. I will let this cat out when I go to bed tonight. The cat is a long-haired one with yellow eyes. It appears to be completely black and looks like it had a collar but it is missing now.

   Oh please don't let the kitty out tonight! Is there anyone that can get the kitty and then take it to the shelter in the morning to help out tickyree?

   Lock her in your bathroom tonight, away from your kitties, if you can. And get her to the Animal Shelter in the morning, or just call the Seattle Animal Shelter. Poor thing, if you can help her find her way home.

   Me too! I'm asking you not to let him out! When we lost ours we had people letting us know that they had seen our cat but they didn't keep him so he just kept wandering. Took us 5 weeks before someone locked him in long enough for us to be reunited and he'd had the crap beaten out of him by other cats on the way.

   I would be happy to come and get him and take him to the vet tomorrow to see if he's chipped and then to the shelter if he's not. Call me 206 300 9971 if you want me to do that. I'd call you now except it's late and it says you're offline. :(

   Whatever happened to this kitty? I called the op and still no response! Did she let the kitty out? Did the kitty find her owner? Please let us know!

   I personally think that any lost pet should be given to animal control as people who have lost pets are extremely like to contact them.

   (If by any chance you decide to keep this cat after all, my advice is to not mention that on this forum.)
