While trying to remember title of book I read long time ago about group of youths, someone said Animal Farm. I knew it wasn't that but somehow never read it & put on hold at library. The book I originally thinking about was Lord of the Flies. Thinking about reading that again. Someone said Animal Farm is compared to communism. I hope this will be a good read.

gracie - a friend of mine recently recommended a Tom Robbins book to me "Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates" and it was a great read if you have not read it, you might enjoy it. I just finished "Adios Incognito" by him also a good read. The library has almost all his books in eBook format (Kindle etc.) so easy to get for free.

Thanks, VB for the suggestions. I'm not sure if Animal Farm is going to be something I will like. I did like way back when Lord of the Flies. Will check out on eBook for these suggested books. Occasionally when work, etc gets too stressful in my life I will resort to "bubble gum for the brains" type read to decompress.

VB - could the title be Villa Incognito and not Adios Incognito? I wouldn't find a book by him with that title.

great idea, I just spent one hour and eleven minutes watching the movie. Never read the Orwell book, but the movie was a good representation of Lenin and the transition to Stalin.

gracie, I think you should read it and watch the movie.

Helps to be up to date on Soviet history to fully appreciate Animal Farm. The cat and the horse in are my favorite characters, though having an evil-doer named snowball as the source of all problems is good.
