A somewhat random post, but if anyone out there is interested in getting rid of excess halloween candy, I'm following the lead of a few dentists out east (see link below) and considering boxing up all of the excess candy I can get my hands on and shipping it out to walter reed army medical center. these guys have put everything they have on the line for us, and you'd be amazed what a butterfinger or reese's peanut butter cup from a complete stranger will do.

if anyone else thinks this is worth while, give me a hoo-rah.

  2. I have got perhaps 5+ pounds of individually wrapped gummy lips left over from my wedding I would be more than happy to donate!

I would highly suggest an insulated cooler with some ice packs. One day stuck in a stuffy truck could turn all the chocolate to mush.

What would be the best way to get it to you? I'm in Magnolia by the Fisherman's Terminal.

I have a couple pounds...and I'll check with one of my friends. (she bought a metric ton of candy and got two trick-or-treaters.)

I have two unopened bags of strawberry twizzlers I wouldn't otherwise know what to do with!

I have leftover candy as well. Let me know if you are going to send and I will get it to you somehow.
