Just "Indian male transient." I live very near there and just saw a police car go by looking at our usual crew by the empty Denny's lot. He honked to get them to turn around, then drove on when they did so.

BTW - there are traffic accidents all over right now, as well as a disturbance between maintenance workers over in Fremont and a cranky woman who is "Throwing tools at them."

Sheesh. When the weather makes me cranky, I stay home!

Oh, boy. Maybe World's Dumbest Criminals could just send a crew out. This is just too nuts. I've got to go outside again soon and really, really don't want to now.

Not to thread jack, but this reminds me of an Indian transient I used to know, I think he was at the university on a student visa. See, back when I lived in Columbus Ohio, the Cleveland Indians were consistently making the playoffs, and it seemed like everyone had one of those hats with the Chief Wahoo Native American style buckwheat logo. You know the modern interpretation of the racist image with the big nose, wide grin, and high cheek bones. Well at the time there was dude from India who was a regular at my local and looked like the spitting image of Chief Wahoo when he smiled. That never made sense to me, that a guy from Asia and totally unrelated to this bigoted tradition would be unfortunate enough to look like a horrible character of a Native American when he smiled.

File this under wacky days, cases of mistaken identity, Columbus, Indian Assaults, and Slum-Dog Ballard Air!

Maybe we're just all going a little crazy after eight-plus years of "war"... add elections and full-moon to that and it's a good weekend to stay in and drink lots of cocktails.
