The Seattle Times reports today that the NW Insurance Council and Arson Alarm Foundation are offering a $10,000 reward for info leading to the arrest and conviction of the arsonist who destroyed the Greenwood businesses. The hotline is 1-800-55-ARSON

  2. God I hope they catch this person. It's only a matter of time before they kill someone in one of these fires.

wb, that's the scary thing if you read the descriptions of where this f---tard likes to set fires, right at doors. That's why the guy in the basement apartment got so badly burned.
This socially stunted firebug will go to prison for attempted murder on top of the arson charges.

Does anyone remember the guy who set dozens of fires in North Seattle in the 1980s? He torched houses, busineeses & churches...and was finally caught. He was a volunteer fire-fighter I think...but he always showed up at the sites to watch the fires.

I hope that they catch this guy and send him to prison for a very long time...like forever.

Jules - I was just thinking about that this morning... Ironically, I didn't know about that arson until last week. There was a movie made about him - airing on Lifetime Movie Network... At that time, he was considered the worst arson in US history. I'm curious if that still is true. Unfortunately I didn't get to see the end and my brief google searching today hasn't turned up anything noteworthy.

And yes... As these fires creep closer to my house, I'm really hoping that they catch this guy and put him away! I'm at a loss for words at what his fire shenanigans are doing to our community and how there is no justification for such acts!
