   Yeah, I'm so disappointed that my house wasn't crushed by a falling tree and that I'm not sitting here unable to work because the power's out. Sooooo disappointed.

    There's a moderate sized branch laying across the sidewalk at 24th and NW 56th-57th street.

    A fruiting tree, thinking it's a cherry tree. Well are a few medium sized trees there that still have the leaves on so less wind resistance more drag.

    So yeah, big hype little follow through.

    Sometime today they added some yellow tape and a malfunctioning sawhorse with a blinking light, that is not blinking.... the obstruction is still there though.

    Maybe they're guessing over time that the branch will rot and degrade then wash away like all of the leaves stuffing up the sewer drains, that they are also not clearing...

    Of which there are many.

    I've cleaned afew, try doing that without getting an odd look from people that are around.

    Well, they removed the broken off branch from the pic there.... Then the whole tree it sheared off from too. I guess it was a just incase thing.
