An 84-year-old friend needs a hearing exam and probably
hearing aids. He has only Medicare and no other insurance.
I've heard that hearing aids are really expensive. Anyone
have an idea of where he could go?
Thanks.

Pardon?
I'm going to be cracking up all day
over that comment.
Insurance does not cover hearing aids in the US, so out of pocket is unfortunately necessary. Costco is less expensive, but simply ok on service and testing. Hearing aids can be $500-5000.00, ignore Miracle Ear and all the cheap ones. Get what you pay for.

Elderly parents, friends, etc. are often reluctant to get fitted for hearing aids, but they benefit the wearer + everyone around them. Good luck!
