Old Frayed Knot has allowed beer to finally catch up with him. I feel I am officially chubby! I am thinking of using my shop vac with a metal straw duct taped to the suction end so I can do some basement liposuction. I will use some rubbing alcohol to make things sterile. If I require any assistance can I count on anyone here?

Hi Frayed, I'm not sure why, but I thought you were a gal!

I'm available to assist. Please do not attempt this alone :o)

I'm a big fan of home surgery, especially being uninsured - :)

The only way I'd go to a hospital these days is if I was holding my severed head on my arm like a purse.

A soldering iron might be needed or would super glue be the best way to 'seal you up'!?

Looking around this joint I think I can offer up one of those nifty streamlined Swingline staplers. They're great on incisions and allow you to forgo the traditional needle and thread route.

A Swingline stapler? Is it red? Don't give it up for ANYBODY.

My husband had to have staples in his head when he cut it open - it was pretty horrible to watch, and I don't think he was fond of the experience, either.

So BlackSheep, did they use something like a staple remover to take our your hubbies' head metal? I have one I'm planning to lend to Frayed Knot should he need it.

I don't remember - wasn't there for that part. It seems to me that they did, though!

They DO use a stapler remover to remove body staples! Had the staples with my c-sections. Have to admit...looked kinda creepy....
