A friends Subaru was stolen in broad daylight today. It was parked in-front of his house on 22nd while he was away for a while. Any help finding the car would be greatly appreciated.
It's a Red Subaru Loyale with Thule pod on top, license is a Washington Plate "620 XML"
Looks like this, just older and a faded. There was a child's car seat and a stroller inside.

So sorry to hear about your friends bad luck. I wish someone would figure out how all these Subarus are being stolen since I have one myself. Anymore, I think twice about moving it out of my locked garage.

There was a discussion of this a while back over on the phinney/greenwood blog. Apparently someone has a master key. It must be for older models as I don't think I've seen anything later than a 1999 mentioned.

Subarus have at least a couple of design features which make them easier to break into (without a key).

"Check the streets around NE 125th and 15th ave NE Seattle thats where we found ours near the Safeway and 711. The creep I am guessing lives near there. Keep an eye out! I will frequent the area looking for him. Hopefully the police will find him before I do!"

I may have seen it on 8th NW near next to the 73rd bus stop. But that would have been thursday or friday morning.

There's a red 'ish' subaru wagon a block off from where you said, but the plates don't match and not sure it's a Loyale.
