   Wow, that last post of mine was unnecessarily grim. As penance, I'm starting this ready-to-be-derailed thread about.... anything you want it to be about.

   The sun is out and it's a beautiful mild Seattle day and Ballard friends are safe and sound on their vacations, dealing happily as they can with the delays created by Ma Nature and I'm not really a party-pooper.

   I believe CCRU would have a crunchy part, and also a ooey-gooey part. I probably should get to work trademarking the idea. Maybe different varieties, like CCRU with caramel filling, CCRU with peanuts, peanut butter CCRU... Oh! We could let coffee shops make CCRU mochas!

   CP, I hope I didn't offend you!

   When I watched that show, I thought it very unfair that Keith, Laurie and Shirley had straight hair, and Danny did not. Curly hair can make you crazy, regardless of the color, so I decided that's why he was such a little snot.

   But then he grew up, and shot my kind theory all to hell.

    CW: not offended in the least. After years of teasing about the resemblance, I can now laugh about it. It's weird, though. I have school photos that really look just like that.

    And yes, I always hated the not-straight hair I was cursed with as a youngster. Nowadays, any hair would be appreciated.

    I detest Danny Bone-head-oochie. But I loooooooove redheads. They really DO rock.

    Get me drunk sometime and I'll tell you a funny story about me and the kid who first played little brother Chris Partridge, the drummer.

    (That's kind of a joke, since I don't ever get drunk. But I could be convinced to tell anyway.)

    I think I know that story Mickey. But I would also be more than capable of getting you drunk. ;-)

    Mr. Crankypants - The nephew is a redhead too. The kids at school tease him for being a 'ginger.' But kids will always find something to tease another kid about.
