   I am currently unemployed but refuse to sit around and feel sorry for myself. So I am offering a helping hand to anyone that needs one. I don’t profess to be a true handyman or have mad fix-it skills. What I do have is a strong desire to help people and lend a hand wherever one is needed. I have a background in computers but I am willing to help wherever the need is. I also have a pickup truck if things need to be moved or taken to the dump. I am not asking for money for any of my services. I simply want to help. If you feel strongly that you should offer some sort of compensation please make out a check to the Ballard Food Bank in whatever amount you see fit and I will deliver the checks directly to them.
   Please let me know if you or someone you know could use a hand.

   Patrick - This is very generous of you. I know there are lots of people from this forum who are looking for help with yardwork and moving furniture, etc. Hope you get some takers. What goes around comes around...

   That is so very kind of you to offer! I might take you up on the offer of a truck for taking things to the dump or thrift store. I need to clean out our horrible, cluttered basement and will need to haul stuff to both places. I need to get to it this weekend, so you might be hearing from me. I would of course love to donate to the food bank.

   I am also in need of help with my yard. But that is a task that I doubt anyone would want to help with. It's pretty bad right now! haha
