I am looking for those sticky stars teachers used to put on graded papers.
Does anyone know where I can find them, do they even make them anymore?
Also, if you have a graded paper story, please share!

Top 10 Toys on 85th next to Fred Meyer. They have lots of stickers for sale.
They still make them and I have some. You don't have to lick them though - pre-sticky. I used to use them as a supervisor to bring attention to someone's good work. Not sure they were appreciated, but I liked using them.
So many opportunities with that post title... so little time. =]
aces wally!
I don't have a graded paper story but remember quite well an old substitute I had in the early 70's that would say 'pipe down' to the class. It was funny coming from a grandma type gal.
Alonzo, I am going to contact you off of the forum.
I think you can help me with what I need the stars for.
luv you ballardmike :)
GG- that's funny. i had a substitute teacher in 3rd grade who told me to "shut your pie hole". SRSLY! i was horrified at the time, but later laughed my butt off. ha!
Maybe needed for the Solstice parade. Nude in the stars LOL
see, that's the Post Office's problem (see other thread)
when they went to the self-sticking stamps, they lost that auto-erotic sensation of licking the back that appealed to so many.
the same is true of these stars--probably why we've lost so many great teachers.
GG, You can get them at Bartells. They are in the aisle with the garage sale type dots and other packaging type stickers.
i have such fond memories of those stars. my favorite was red ones on my homework! i also LOVED it when my teachers would put a "C", for correct, with a red circle around it.
i was so happy to show my parents. ;)
