My boyfriend's 8 year old son took his empty yogurt tub, filled it with green slime he made in school, taped the lid back on and put it back into the fridge. He was unbearably tickled with himself. ;-)

Think Geek (my favorite online geeky store) offered this product this morning amongst their other "New Items:"

    The product video is charming!

My business partner has a habit of wearing track suits to work so that he can go to the gym at lunch. We have been giving him a hard time about it for years. When he wandered in yesterday, the entire office was wearing track suits.

That doesn't top last year, in which three separate people went in to his office during the day and told them they (or their girlfriend) was pregnant. We eventually let him off the hook.

Car & Driver magazing pulled off a doozy this year...and got in big trouble. In a nutshell, they published a story that the White House instructed Chrysler and GM to halt their participation in NASCAR as part of their requirements for financial bailout.

Personally, I think it's a great idea. You can read about it here:

Thanks for that zeke, it made my day, I just wish I had read about it before knowing that it was a joke!

The best April Fools jokes are the ones where you touch on the victim's worst fears and they are so shocked that their worst fears are coming true that they don't stop to think about what day it is.

"WTF!! Bubba! get in here and look at this!!!!!"

This one is so brilliant C&D should get a Pulitzer, not have to apologize.

Years ago, on April Fool's day, my mother was driving across Snoqualmie pass. Ahead of her she noticed a sign attached to the back end of a station wagon, just below the rear window. The sign said

"April Fool's Joke in progress: please honk and flip driver off."

She laughed, but could only bring herself to smile and wave. ;-)
