  1. Great Idea said, in the Orange Cat thread (which I didn't want to interrupt):

    .k., here's a potential band name:

    "Fox Nibbles Ginger"

    or maybe

"Ginger Fox and the 57th street crew"

and it nudged a thought I've been having, specifically that one thought where you hear or read a phrase and think "That would make a great band name, or maybe an album title.

The other day, cd6 dropped one (in another cat-related thread, I think... coincidence??) that I thought that very thought about:

Recipe For Confusion seems like a killer album title to me.

I also like Hitler's Harmonica as a band name. 50 points to the someone who can tell me where I got the inspiration for that one.

  4. Great topic.

"Taking My Talents to South Beach" sounds like a mid-90s rap album.

  6. Paul, I think you're right about that.

Ages ago I had a little 4-track recording project that I did with a friend. We stole our name from a furniture store sign: New Swivel Rockers. We thought we were so clever at the time.

SunriseSunset: Hitler's Harmonica was inspired by a scene in Rat Race, but I like the sound of Harmonicats!
