    · bicycles in our day to day operation

    · biodegradable soap, reusable sponges and towels.

    · local people

    · paperless invoicing and estimates

    · green practices in our office

We believe keeping things simple and local is the best way to insure a sustainable future for us all.

That's an easy one. They have a tandem to carry the retractable ladder. ;-)

How would things be done with non-local people. Via the internets?

Does anyone remember Moses, the local (for some people) window cleaner? He charged an arm and a leg, and I swear the windows were dirtier when he was done - but he would chat and sing through the window he was cleaning and bang on it if you weren't paying attention. He walked everywhere carrying a ladder and two buckets :-)

Hey, gentle myballardstanites, sounds like some good folks are trying to get something going. Save the wise cracking for more deserving targets. Surely, we have plenty of those!

    JP...

I liked Moses. That's why he suckered me out of major cash at least 3 times. It was the singing, not the washing :-)

There is a guy in Wallinford named Vinnie. He did the windows at a couple of places where I worked. Think he had a PhD from Columbia or something. Just liked washing windows, and did a fantastic job! But I may call the bike guy because we lost Vinnies card, our windows are dirty and we are lazy.

I was completely serious with my question about the ladder. I really do want to know how they got that figured out...surf racks? Super collapsable ladder?

I don't know for sure of course, but I was thinking SPG that they might be using one of those bike trailers?

It is true about the bike trailers. :-) We have stack ladders where the longest piece is 6'. We will see you all around.

Jonathan, I will comment as I see fit. Your self righteous blather is annoying!

For some reason I instantly got a mental picture of a circus act, guys on bikes balancing ladders as they rode around the yard. But, hey, good window cleaners are hard to find.
