   Hi -- I'm a non-dog-having-dog-person who is interested in finding a neighbor with a nice dog that would like to get an extra walk (20-40 min, flexible) a few times a week in the afternoon/early evening.

   I'm not a business, I'm not interested in charging anything, just miss having a dog buddy on my walks. Looking for someone fairly local to me, so the Whittier Heights area of Ballard & surrounds -- I'm near the new 9th ave park, but am flexible for the right doggie! If you are not home when you want your dog walked we'd need to make some arrangement (dog in backyard or key to garage, etc) so that's a consideration.

   are you insured and things like that? i have had the same dogwalker for over 3 years (and i love her so much!!) but she has taken a new route in her life and i am now in need but want a reliable, 3 day a week person. i will also need someone insured, etc....since they will be entering and exiting my house these 3 days a week. please let me know what your credentials are and i may be interested! thank you for your time and good luck in finding a dog or dogs! :) woof...

   p.ss....any issues with large breed dogs? thanks again.

   Hi Julesage -- it sounds like you are probably looking for a professional dog-walker, one that keeps insurance, a business license and charges a fee. I'm just a neighbor seeing if any neighbors have a dog that wouldn't mind the occasional extra outing around the hood, no charge, while I'm out walking anyway.

   That said, if you live near me and would like the occasional walk for your dog when you are there to let me in, let me know -- I have no problem with large breeds if they are cooperative dogs -- love 'em in fact!

   Animal Control is always looking for volunteers, so you might see if they need people to exercise and walk the dogs there.

   Thanks for getting back with me, and, yes, i indeed do need a professional dogwalker. i have had a gal walk sage & bella (my 2 monsters) for the past 3 years but she gave her notice and today is her last day sadly. i am interviewing folks next week for the position. if you, or anyone else, would like to have themselves considered, feel free to email me and we will go from there.

   my monsters are very cooperative and very cool. the trouble is that i am not there to let you in, if i were there, than i would gladly walk my own dog. :)

   I noticed someone posted on the PhinneyWood site that they were looking for someone to spend time with their dog during the day. Might be a good fit....

   I have a dog that would love to get walked. We are little farther up, on 8th and 92nd but if you want to take our dog for a walk during the week anytime, he would love it! The week-ends he is pretty well looked after but bored during the week.
