Somebody told me that there is a lady with plants for sale up on 61st, just east of 14th. Sure enough, I found the house with the "Plants for sale" sign on it and all the lovely lettuces and peppers in little plastic pots on a plywood table outside.
I was at the beginning of my Sunday morning walk with my buddy, Peter, so I didn't try to talk to her, but I'll be back.
Just letting people know about her in case you want to buy from a neighbor!
