As a few of you are probably aware, Vegan Biker was back in the UK before Christmas visiting with his Dad, who was unwell. Sadly, he got a call early yesterday morning letting him know that his Dad had passed away.

We probably won't be hearing from him for a while, as he is returning to the UK in the next few days.

My condolences to you and your sister, Vegan Biker. Take care, and I'll be thinking of you.

PennyGirl needs to hold those Welsh lessons for us so we can properly say that we are so sorry and that we hope being with family during this time helps.

Ah, yes.. VB, make sure you wear one of those shiny reflector vests if you're going to be on a bicycle in the UK.

VB, this is a loss for you. And it seems to come in layers. It seems as though we are never prepared for it.

Thank you PG - and thanks to all of you for your kind words and love.
I am very grateful for all the support that I feel from your messages.
I leave tomorrow and was planning to get back to Ballard on the 26th however there appears to be a backlog of funerals in the Camberly area and the earliest day that my sister could get is Jan 27th. So I had to change my ticket this morning!
This date is very interesting because my dad was born on 1-28-1920, so he lived almost 91 years.

Thanks again to you all and I will be checking the forum when I am over there.

So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Losing a parent is one of the most difficult things in life. May your memories keep him in your heart always and forever.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Vegan Biker: I am so sorry to read of this. I am thinking about you and hoping you & your family find the light that they need to get through these times. Just stay strong and know that better days will come, it may take quite awhile sometimes, but it will happen my friend. Hold your head high and travel safe. peace be with you. xo
