   Has anyone else seen what my wife and I refer to as "The Graffiti Hunter"? He is a middle aged man who walks around with a couple cans of spray paint usually around 5-6AM and I believe he finds new tags and covers them up with his own paint. We've seen him all up and down Market...just curious if anyone else has seen him as well.

   I haven't seen him, but I have seen his "handiwork" first hand. He sprayed over graffiti on my fence before I could fix it myself, and he made it way worse. Also the paint went went through my fence slots and damaged my outdoor furniture. Your heart may be in the right spot, but when you spray our property, it is still destructive. Don't do me any more favors, chump.

   My wife and I have totally seen him. Like 2 months ago at 5;15 am on 22nd between 58th and 59th. There was this spooky dude walking around with spray paint in his hand and after we passed him on the street he started painting the back of a loading zone sign. We assumed he lived in the building right there, not some roaming vigilante.

   weird.

   I always think the most effective thing would be for anyone who sees someone's tag to write after his handle "______... has an IQ of 61", or "gave me chlamydia", or somesuch. I can't help but think that seeing that phrase in big letters everywhere would curtail his urges for self-promotion.
