    Happy Holidays neighbors,

Have some of you switched from Comcast to Century Link and what’s your opinion?

    Thanks

I switched when I lived in Ballard. Didn’t see much of a difference. My rates didn’t go up much throughout my time and I didn’t feel gouged for everything like with Comcast. I switched because I paid for HD channels, but needed to upgrade my DVR to use said channels I was paying for. That is utter bull.

Comcast seems to have a monopoly and they keep raising the rates.

Oh yeah, the Xfinity speed test says 242 Mbps Download. It seems to vary.

I’m biased towards CenturyLink (because I work there :-).

If you are in our fiber footprint, it’s an amazing product. If you shoot me an email at Gig.Seattle@centurylink.com I can check for you, and let you know if you can get Fiber to the Prem.

I don’t know what Customer Service is like at Century Link, I don’t need to call them. I stream just fine. $29.00 a month. High Speed internet and wi-fi for streaming. no phone, already had one.
