    Seattle CPA firm is looking to fill Office Admin role. We are a firm in Ballard who is in search of an experienced individual with a high level of professionalism and a great attitude to join our growing team of accountants. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.

    Position: Full Time Office Administrator with tax and accounting functions.

    Description of duties: this position will spend a fair amount of time working at the front desk, answering phones and greeting clients. In addition, the duties will include but is not limited to the following tasks:

    Tax Dept functions: scanning client documents, processing tax returns, sending out client mailings (i.e. engagement letters, organizers, client mailers), manage office task software, track CPE for the staff and partners.

    Accounting functions: assist with some of the monthly bookkeeping for clients including bank reconciliations, preparing financial statements, making bank deposits, assist with quarterly payroll filings, process client payments, manage accounts receivable, pay bills.

    Firm Administration functions: managing office supplies, serving as an assistant to the partners, handling social media for the firm (i.e. update firm website, weekly Facebook updates), managing online marketing tools, create and send out direct marketing mailings, etc.

    HR functions: managing vacation time for staff, manage employee time reporting, plan firm social events, writing procedures manual, preparing ad hoc reports, assist with projects as needed, assist with job postings and reviewing resumes for new hires.

    Minimum 2 years of related experience
    Very experienced with Excel, Word, Outlook, Quickbooks
    Ability to work in fast paced environment and “can do” attitude to meet deadlines
    A proactive self-starter with the ability to follow directions and work independently
    Professional manner and positive attitude, Non Smoker
    Ability to multi task
    Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, Reliable
    Must have own car available to run errands.

    Compensation: competitive hourly pay DOE
    This position is eligible for health, dental and vision benefits. The company pays 75% of the employee’s premium.
    This position is eligible to participate in a firm sponsored retirement plan.
    Eligible for annual bonus of up to 5%.
