    Seattle Parks and Recreation and ARC are recruiting Youth Basketball Officials for the Winter Youth Recreational League.

    We’re looking for men and women to become basketball officials for the Citywide Youth Games League, which runs from January through March 2016. There is a special need for officials to work Saturday and Sunday. The Department will provide training to develop the skills necessary to work successfully as an official.

    If you like working with young people and you’re interested in making some money, please apply for this opportunity, or contact the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation Athletics Program with any questions. We encourage women and minorities to apply.

    Location: Various Seattle Community Centers

    Schedule: Saturdays and/or Sundays

    Start date: January 2016

    End date: March 2016

    Pay range: $20.00 per game

    Requirements:
    •Must be over age 15
    •Officials will be required to attend training session (free of charge) prior to the beginning of the season
    •Must pass criminal background check
    •Must provide valid government-issued ID and proof of eligibility to work in the US
    •Must sign up for direct deposit with either checking or savings account or Paycard
