If I remember correctly, there was a problem with the new Discus platform and many people just couldn’t get back on, and for a long time. When it did get straightened out a bit the new format didn’t seem as “connected” as the old one and I think many dropped because of that. I use ND a bit but there’s something about it’s layout that I find tedious to sort through.

Smartsy, I actually don’t have any…that was just a Google image. I pulled it from the internet while I was “investigating”! However, i have seen these dried at florist shops. Are you looking for the pod as decor, or for seeds to grow?

Now this has me curious! Maybe it’s an okra seed pod?

I’m not even a biker and I had that same thought as I crossed the bridge this morning.

That stretch of Leary from about 48th on over to 14th is like car camper heaven. (Also many of the side streets nearby.) Wouldn’t surprise me if that had some impact on suspicious activity in the area.

    Haha! Yes!
Years ago I had a indoor/outdoor cat. On several occasions, while I was out walking the dog, I would see her curled up or sitting on other peoples porches or window ledges. Always made me wonder if she was getting fed somewhere else.
I am now an adamantly “indoor only” cat person…for other reasons.

I do fairly well, except that damn “I before E, exceptfter C, unless…yada, yada, yada!
Problem with dictionaries is that you need to know how to spell the word to begin with. I’m assuming LIA meant upholstery, and she’d never find that with her interpretation.

Curl Up & Dye was Carrie Fishers beauty salon in The Blues Brothers movie too! Always loved that one.

Of course I’m feeling dumber with every new post here!
I got the new router because they notified me of it. Is that weird?
I wish I could hire someone to walk me step by step through canceling cable, improving my internet and getting hooked up with online programming. I am so lost about all of this :(

Did you get your new modem? I got mine but haven’t switched it yet. They claim it will make things super speedy again.

I’m really looking forward to attending. Past years have always had a conflict. Maybe I’ll see you there LIA?!
I just mentioned that about my ducks so people know that I didn’t just get them for egg production and then abandon them. I hear about that with chickens and it makes me ill.
My ducks love to “dabble”, that is to root around in the dirt and gravel for bugs or other tasty bits. I’m not going to say I have no slugs or snails but if they are in my garden they are truly lonely!

The days of duck eggs are over so now they just spend the day tending to other important duck activities.

    Man I hate that. :(
I always worry about my neighbors use of rat poison. Not a happy story should someone’s dog or cat, or other wildlife get ahold of a poisoned carcass.

Not sure where exactly you work downtown but Grand Central Bakery in Pioneer Square has been one of my favorite places since I moved to Seattle in ’83. Whole foods has good sandwiches and a make-it-yourself salad bar, plus lots of great pre-made salads and entrees. The same can be said of Metropolitan Market. I also go to Special T’s sometimes; they can be hit or miss.

I’m pretty sure roosters are not legal in-city.
