VeganBiker – NW 90th, Olympic Manor.
VeganBiker – Yes, so was the street i live on and you should see it now.
How about Jack, who has the metal fabrication shop next door to Old Ballard Liquor Co?
Now watch them get DPD to approve building 3 of those $700K townhouses in the backyard.
I just tried Blend last week. The ladies in there were nice and the juice was very good.
I had the THAI BASIL – Cucumber, Celery, Kale, Basil, Lemon, Lime, bell Pepper, Ginger, Coconut Water
It was tasty but $10 for a 16oz juice, though all organic, isn’t something i’ll be doing often.
They are the sweetest people and everything they serve is excellent. We walk down there for lunch/dinner and have attended their benefit dinner buffet for the past 4 years. I have heard people ordering 0-stars, so they can accommodate.
Their curries are great, red is my favorite.
If you are a spice fiend like me, order the Flaming Dragon Prawns. They are the hottest thing on the menu and cannot be returned if you don’t like them. Embrace the sparkly, esophageal pains! Yum.
Is freaking hilarious….
Well, we’re surrounded by water on 3 sides and connected to “the city” by a bridge, so i guess they’re spot-on….
My hubby gets CO2 tanks filled for about $7 at Central Welding Supply at 49th and 9th.
CR, ooo sexiness….
Compass Rose, here you go.
They just emailed me a crappy “teaser video” about their remodel.
I’m sure the cozy, Chinese decor will be ripped out and replaced with the soul-less concrete floor, brick, artisan light fixture, and exposed beam shit-show de jour.
Upon re-opening, i’m sure the din of douchebags will be too loud in there to hear yourself think.
I just remember he and his brown van were always there.
Gracie – Are you talking about the guy who used to own Mr. Spot’s Chai House?
GI, great minds…
Funny that no one has mentioned Goofy’s.
I think they’ve moved up to the 89th & 16th area. Someone lit off over a dozen fireworks in that area last night around midnight.
I may have bruises from my cats flying off my bed.
Oh goody! A new cult to give Driscoll a run for his (dwindling) money. I hope they handle snakes and walk on the pew-backs while speaking in tongues, that’s always fun.
LA Fitness has always had a sleazy vibe, in my opinion. I don’t feel comfortably working out in a meat-market environment.
OAC is really nice now that the construction is completed. I liked how it was before, but have to admit that i really like some of their improvements. The 2nd floor pool is usually pretty empty, for you lap-swimmers. There are many pre hipster-invasion, older people who still workout there.
It is sad because it has been there so long but i never did stop and eat at Louie’s.
Golden City is my favorite Chinese place outside of Chinatown. The Mongolian Beef and Sizzling Rice Soup are the best.05/30/2014 at 10:02 am in reply to: NBR- Should They Move Goodwill to Bellevue Square Mall? #67486
Between the hipsters and their love of all things vintage or mid-century and the Macklemore fans who would have never thought about going into these places before thrift-shopping became trendy, the prices have gone up substantially.
I’m all for these places making money but it has been an interesting social experiment to watch the clientele shift and the prices increase.
Try Tater Tot Tuesday at Zayda Buddy’s. All you have to do is buy a beer (or any other beverage) and you get a free order of tots.
