I do not know who it is, and I am not willing to discuss details about what’s been said and alluded to. This is new territory for me.

There’s no reason on this green earth that I would bring it up unless there was something going on–that wouldn’t be in my interest or that of other forum participants. Since the Swedes have not responded to my emails, I need to daylight the problem at the very least.

The comments are very subtle. Clearly the poster knows what they are doing.

I am not sure there is enough there to get the police involved, but that thought is in my mind.

I’d like more information on that. There’s nothing dishonest about what I said–they were all members of my Local and I paid Death Assessments on all three.

My stuff was all in the early ’90s. Yes, blue collar.

    My story’s real.

By the way, all three named individuals are no longer alive.

Gracie’s story rings true with me on so many levels. I was a young stagehand in the 1980s and the things she talks about ring true, but I never had the guts to take anyone down. I hope that Neal Johns, Frank Cox, and Uldis Zarins made sense of what they did to me and how it affected me. I’ll never forget what any of them did to me.

JRA for sure, or Second Ascent if that’s more convenient for ya.

There was plenty of blowback when Poker said that kind of stuff. He was reported on several occasions by multiple people as well.

I think talking about the bodies of teenage cheerleaders definitely goes to hate speak. Women are beaten down enough for how they look without picking on the young ones. The poster has posted well more than his share of misogynistic comments, they’re just not typically aimed at children.

    Hate speech.

    Hate speech directed at children.

    Wow.

Pretty sure Olaf’s has a fryer. They also have fried pickles on the menu.

As a former owner of a burly SUV and someone who will parallel park in some puny-ass spots, I know exactly what you are talking about. My car pretty much always needs one since I’m always rolling up on curbs.

I’m not going to get into the specifics of my vehicle warranty. I can recommend Affordable if anyone’s looking for a place. They had my vehicle done in an hour.

I ended up going with Affordable. They were super-quick and easy to deal with. I mistakenly dialed the U District shop rather than the Interbay one, but it worked out great. Thanks for the recommendations, much appreciated.

It’s no longer courtesy when another motorist is imploring you to break traffic laws so they can feel a little better about themselves.

It’s a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. Given the history of Edog for abusive posts, I assumed he just wanted the make and model of my car for whatever reason. The car spends a lot of its life city driving, but also probably 6k annually on road trips. Not much in between.

Thanks Beaverite. It’s tough to get useful information around this forum sometimes.

    Ok, trolls, you’ve been acknowledged.

Now, anyone have a suggestion for a decent place for front end alignments?

I knew exactly what I was doing at the time and have no regrets. Yes, it might have been one of my neighbors–but I am not afraid to stand behind my words and actions.

I know exactly how long :30 is and I waited that long. And yes, it was ridiculous. If I’d had nowhere to go, I’d have parked and gone home. Julie’s Portlandia clip is not much of an exaggeration.

Saffy, we all make mistakes on occasion. I had had a pretty heinous day that day and I paid dearly for that momentary lapse. That was the first and only time I have caused a traffic accident.

What I am talking about is action with intent. I am sure you can see that you’re comparing apples to oranges here….right?

If people could simply learn the traffic laws, and then follow them, none of this would be an issue.
