Quite the light display on 9th Ave., just north of 67th St.

“My kids have dubbed it, ‘The Monster House,'” says one neighbor of this frightening house on 16th Ave., just north of 67th St.

Not in Ballard, but this Greenwood “Reaper” at 3rd Ave. and 76th St. is an annual favorite. This year, it’s taller than ever, at 18 feet.

“This is a picture taken at the Whittier Elementary School Fall Carnival on October 24th,” writes one My Ballard reader who sent us this pic. “We think this is a great homemade costume!”
